We had the pleasure of having Isabelle present at our professional development day in Hayward USD. My teachers had requested training on mindfulness. Knowing Isabelle's expertise, passion and commitment to teacher and student wellness, I called upon her to lead teachers in an introduction to mindfulness. Isabelle knows first hand about the stress and demands that educators face. Isabelle clearly explained what mindfulness is and what is not and her own journey to mindfulness. Isabelle led us through several activities that teachers can use immediately in their own lives and in their classrooms. Isabelle also had many resources to share with us. Isabelle is also a systems thinker. She partnered with district leaders where she is employed and created a district employee wellness plan. I highly recommend Isabelle. She is very caring, approachable and connects well with her audience.
